The Coalition conductsan Annual In-service Professional Development Conference and workshops on current education laws, legislation and educational issues with the assistance of the U.S. Department of Education, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights under the Law, the National Committee for Citizens in Education, the NAACP Education and Legal Defense Fund, the NEA, and the National Coalition for Parental Involvement. Since its conception, the National Coalition of ESEA Title Parents has provided 35 National In-service Training Conferences. For additional services of the Coalition, see Regional Associations.
The Coalition awards a minimum of three 1,000.00 scholarships each year to former Title I students who seek to further their education with an institution of higher learning. The Coalition’s scholarship is named the Carl D. Perkins Financial Assistance Award in honor of the Late Carl Dewey Perkins, Congressman from Kentucky. Congressman Perkins was affectionately known as "the father of Title I."
The Coalition publishes a quarterly newsletter.
The Coalition distributed homework and lunch box kits to children in urban areas made possible through grants from Don King and Coke Cola.
